YouTube confuses me (help?)

This has a purpose so I posted this here instead of spam. If this is in the wrong area, I kindly request a mod to move it to the correct area.

YouTube confuses me.

The reason it confuses me is because when I try to upload, it says my account has been enabled for uploads for longer than 15 minutes.

However, that long time ago, when I had that 45-minute LP of MLI, and tried to upload it, it got rejected for being too long. Obviously that made me say "WTF?!" and I had to re-record it in under 15 minute parts.

Do you want to know the weirdest part? I tried to remove the video and it was removed. However... a few days later... my 45-minute showed up on my channel. I promptly removed it AGAIN. Again... my reaction... "WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!"

So... yeah... I don't get it.

How in the hell am I supposed to be able to upload stuff past 15 minutes? I guess that's the point of this thread and my question.

Youtube has been acting strange ever since that new layout. I've had this exact problem, and also with messages. :annoyedrd:

Did you register for YouTube's premium account? I think that lets you upload videos past 15 minutes.

YouTube has been over worked lately with the new layout, partnerships, and ad campaigning and stuff. My friend had the same problem and he got it fixed somehow.... He also has a partnership with YouTube to get paid for his videos but they keep telling him he is doing something wrong and won't pay him. I miss the old YouTube.  :sadrar:

Use youtube to watch otherpeople and not upload to stop confustion :D

Especially that new layout for the pages. I know YouTube has been acting strange with their new link with Internet explorer 9 but I guess it can't anymore worse than what they have done it 2005
