The mysterious pony tossed the picture towards Nimbus.

"In all honestly... since coming to Ponyville, I figure it's better to just 'run with it' when it comes to certain things. Although since you mentioned it, an explanation would be nice."

"I'm a reporter. Reporters need to be able to get in anywhere."

"Yeah, but as far as we can tell, you're technically breaking and-GAH!" he said as the pony took another picture, this time of the group infront of him.

As he opened his eyes, he seemed stunned slightly at the pressence of everypony.  This was followed by raising his camera and taking another photo of the gathered masses.

'Oh, not this time Pal!' Nimbus thought, making sure to pull the sides of his mouth open with his hooves and stick out his tongue!

After rubbing his eyes again, Nimbus made sure to bask in the joy of photobombing with a pleasant smile.

Summer makes his way up to the Detention Center at a swift trot. He appears haggard and a bit frustrated, though he quickly brightens when he notices the rest are still in the entry way with the photographer from the party.

"Howdy, friends." He shakes his head a bit and lets out a releived sigh. "Tell ya what, I'm gonna thank Celestia every day that I got my cutie mark fer blazin' trails an' not navigatin' paper work."

Summer shakes off the funk and motions further inside the complex. "Shall we go hear Yang's side a' this craziness?"

As the picture printed out, the pegasus grabbed it and waved it. "Hmm... Ooh. Nice! I could use this for the front page. I see the article now... Investigators: Nopony Takes Our Job Seriously, So Why Should We?. My editor is going to love it!"

Looking around at the crowd, he extended a hoof. "Hi! Snap Shot: Equestrian World News. Can I get an interview?"

"Howdy, friends. Tell ya what, I'm gonna thank Celestia every day that I got my cutie mark fer blazin' trails an' not navigatin' paper work. Shall we go hear Yang's side a' this craziness?"

Noticing the new approachy, the camera was raised once again and another photo was taken.

As the picture printed out, the pegasus grabbed it and waved it. "Hmm... Ooh. Nice! I could use this for the front page. I see the article now... Investigators: Nopony Takes Our Job Seriously, So Why Should We?. My editor is going to love it!"

Nimbus could hardly hold back his laughter as he listened to the eccentric pony ramble on.  It was funny if only because the lead detective was far from a laughing mood at this point in time.

"Howdy, friends." He shakes his head a bit and lets out a releived sigh. "Tell ya what, I'm gonna thank Celestia every day that I got my cutie mark fer blazin' trails an' not navigatin' paper work."

Looking around at the crowd, he extended a hoof. "Hi! Snap Shot: Equestrian World News. Can I get an interview?"

Noticing the new approachy, the camera was raised once again and another photo was taken.

'Argh, a third time!' Nimbus thought, finding himself unable to act after trying to acknowledge Summer's arrival.

"Spots...they are now permanently in my vision..." Nimbus stated, rubbing his eyes once again.

Stumpy, still rubbing his eyes from the flashes, turns in the direction of Summer's voice. "Hey Summer... We were just trying to, but this pony's in our way." He turned back to the camerapony.

"Hi! Snap Shot: Equestrian World News. Can I get an interview?"

"GAH!" He returned his hooves to his eyes. "Miss Gavelt, you have authority, don't you? Can we please move along?"

Common looked like he just got slapped in the face when he said that.

'I take my job very seriously! The lives and reputations of ponies are at stanke, so I can't afford to laze around.' he thought as the yellow pegasus extended his hoof.

Before Law could answer him, he heard a familiar voice.

Common turned his head and saw Summer Sunset join the group.

"Hey Summer... We were just trying to, but this pony's in our way."

"Summer. I was wondering where you-GEH." he said as half of his face was caught in the flash. He had a few spots in his eyes, but his glasses protected them enough that he only needed to close them for a bit of relief.

"Spots...they are now permanently in my vision..."

"GAH! Miss Gavelt, you have authority, don't you? Can we please move along?"

'Hang on. He's the same pony who took a picture of us as we entered the Gala. That means he got in the building early.'

He turnes his head to face Snap Shot.

"Tell you what... we'll exchange information. I'll give you an interview if you can give us anything on the ponies who attended the early access tour."

Summer flinches at the flash, but doesn't give it anything more than a mildly annoyed look.

Eva finished rubbing her eyes and looked right at Snap, an angry look on her face.

"Now listen here, you GAAAAH!"

"Hmm... Nope, this one won't work either. Don't worry, Miss, we'll get a good article out of you yet."

"Tell you what... we'll exchange information. I'll give you an interview if you can give us anything on the ponies who attended the early access tour."

Snap raised his eyebrows. "Oh. Tit for tat, quid pro quo and all that. Sure, I'll bight. Nothing stops Snap Shot from getting the scope."

"Alright, what can I give you on the ponies in the early access tour... Ah, I know. Nothing!" came Snap Shot's surprisingly enthusiastic reply. "Don't remember a thing about it. Too busy looking for scoops. Taking pictures... like this one!" he said, pulling out a photograph.

Evidence Found: Early Access Photograph

Shows a crowd of ponies in various states of flinching and bulging eyes. While most ponies are simply random ponies who were at the party, Hard Hat Sr., Yang Taosin, and Yin Taosin can all clearly be seen. Yang appears to be holding the broken camera from earlier.

Eva finished rubbing her eyes and looked right at Snap, an angry look on her face.

"Now listen here, you GAAAAH!"

"Hmm... Nope, this one won't work either. Don't worry, Miss, we'll get a good article out of you yet."

Common couldn't help but take a small amount of pleasure from the fact that Eva was having troubles with somepony.

"Oh. Tit for tat, quid pro quo and all that. Sure, I'll bite. Nothing stops Snap Shot from getting the scope."

"Alright, what can I give you on the ponies in the early access tour... Ah, I know. Nothing!"

He didn't look or feel amused with that statement.

"Don't remember a thing about it. Too busy looking for scoops. Taking pictures... like this one!"

When he pulled out the picture, Common took a closer look at it. There were many ponies, but he recognized Sr., Yin, and Yang. Also, he saw Yang holding the camera they found in the bag.

'So, it does belong to him.'

"That picture could be what I'm looking for. If you let me hold onto it for a while, I'll answer any question you have."

Snap Shot pulled out a pad and pencil.

"Boy, I can just tell this is gonna be my next big article. Right up there with Westside Larsonist Case Turns Explosive and Bat-Colt Found In Cave."
