Granted. Your digestive system starts a riot in response.

I wish for Ace Attorney Investigations 2 to be localized.

I wish for Celestia.

Granted. Here's some music by a French black metal band named Celestia.

I wish for a nice glass of orange juice.

Granted. You get a guitar literally made from electricity. Can't really use it without shocking yourself... and even with proper insulation, you're not that good at playing it.

I wish I could run a mile in 8 minutes.

Granted, but it's a sub sammich made with jellyfish, rusty nails, habañero peppers, and stale bread.

I wish that I knew what I was good at.

:scaredspike:  Am I... Am I still wanted here? It's been... A while since my sudden and completely unexplained departure and drop off the face of the earth. Well, unexplained until now. I'll try to keep it pretty short.

Back... Whenever I vanished, I lost all my connection to the internet for about two and a half days. During those two and a half days, pretty much everything in my real life that could go wrong did, and I suddenly had no time open to do anything but try to take care of those things. Well, about a week ago, I finally got... generally sorted out. Which means I'm able to... Do things again. I've got a lot to read, and hopefully I was replaced in the cases I was part of (I'd be furious with myself if I caused the end of someone else's work), and hopefully I'll get back to actually doing things before too long.

I know I still want you here. I tried tracking you down to make contact (even tried to friend you on Steam) but I never got a reply.

Granted, but curiosity overcomes you. Does it really explode or were you ripped off? You take a bite to make sure... and now you have to pay thousands in medical bills because your insurance doesn't cover exploding cupcakes.

I wish my Internet Explorer wouldn't keep crashing.

"I think it's best if you cool down a bit, and we can talk this over like civilized ponies."
"I would talk if there were not a large slab of wood situated between myself and the good doctor!" Dutch shouted. "I will cool down when I'm allowed inside to explain to the doctor why I am so very beside myself with upsetness!"

"Why does everyone assume I have that kind of free time?" Sprocket asked. "Do I have a sign in my yard that says 'Crazies Wanted: Inquire Within'? I'm seriously asking. It sounds like something I would do and the lawn has gotten so long I've forgotten some of the things that are out there."

"Ach, it's always a joke with you," Dutch complained.

"Let him in, Pal," she conceded. "He's harmless."
With a short sigh, Paladin proceeded to step forward and open the door.  Once it was opened, he stood aside for the Doctor's 'guest' to enter.

Deuces took a moment to observe the rotund unicorn.

'So he's gonna be one of my neighbors... first impression time!'

"Welcome to Hotel Sprocket. May I take your coat?" he said, putting on a false politeness and slight sarcasm.

Shady nodded his head, seeing just how nervous Deuces was after hearing that the machine had been converted into a kind of bomb. "That's a fair point, Mister Wylde, but no harm in checking what the exact situation is... After all, wouldn't it be better to know if we need to clear the crowd out of here first, before we even try to disarm it?" As he spoke, he was lifting up his hoof, mentally preparing to change into his Spectre armour in an instant!

"The Doc hasn't said she couldn't do it..." Deuces responded.

"I admit the whole insurance thing was just a thought but it usually is the main reason for blowing up a building they own." Nightwing said nodding to Deuce's statement "If it was for a different reason I will accept it but we do know it involved setting up for Sprocket to take the fall."
"Wuh..." Cue stammered. "Hey look, buddy, we're just using this theatre. We're a troupe. We don't own it."

'If I end up remembering that Fetlock Holmes quote about twisting facts, I'll send it his way...' Deuces thought, doing his best to recover from the shock.

"I'd still like to know why you took the liberty of changing my perfect design," Sprocket said. "I know for a fact you aren't clever enough to hatch a scheme like this."

"That's... none of your business," Cue said, avoiding eye contact with the doctor.

"So you admit it, then?" Snake asked.

Cue was silent, his gaze cast downward toward the floor. After a moment, he looked at the detective. "I want a deal."

"I'll consider it," the bespectacled pony replied. "Let's start with Mr. Zoran's line of inquiry."

'Poor fool...' Deuces shook his head upon hearing Cue's request for a deal.

Zoran squints at Cue Call. He speaks in a calm voice that is no doubt given courage by the fact that Snake is between himself and Cue, "Perhaps I'm wrong, but I did not judge you to be the type to sacrifice yourself for a grudge. Why don't you help Dr. Sprocket disable your device, before innocent ponies are hurt over your petty vice?"
"Hey, don't get any ideas!" Cue objected. "That thing was NOT meant to blow in the theatre. The caps weren't even added yet. Our jobs were to move the product. The theatre troupe was the perfect cover. We were supposed to meet up with a guy in Ponyville a few months back, but evidently that went south for Celestia knows why."

'Only one name really comes to mind when I hear 'Ponyville' and 'bomb' in the same sentence. Could be wrong, but...'

"Who was he?"

Captain Colombus Razorback always tried to give himself a healthy balance of desk work and street work in his time with the Manehattan PD. Instead of using a police carriage or walking for patrolling the streets, he called upon a pair of twin goats to carry him around on their backs. Not only did they serve as extra pairs of eyes, they could go where a carriage couldn't and in the captain's opinion they were more dependable then some of the ponies he gives orders to.

Under normal circumstances, his steely-eyed gave would never leave an alley's shadow unsearched. Tonight, he was doing his evening crossword while his goats took him on his usual route. He tapped his pencil's eraser against his lower lip, carefully considering the next entry to the puzzle.

"Let's see. One across: three letters, abbreviation for 'evening usurper'... What do you two think?" he asked the pair below him. The pair of identical grey twosome looked at each other before the one on the right spoke up with a bleat. "You're right," agreed Razorback. "Definitely Nightmare Moon, or in this case 'NMM'." This continues for several blocks until they come upon the street Unexpected Truth happened to be walking down. The green minotaur is too focused on finding 35 Down to see him, but the goats notice him and what he is immediately upon spotting him. They give each other a look, then stop in their tracks.

"Feta, Mató, what gives?" asked the rider before the goat on his right squatted down. The shift in balance sent the top-heavy minotaur to the sidewalk with a shout.

Pretty ominous end to the update, Jake. Still enjoyable, and I can't wait for more.

"I am~!" Ink sang as he trotted toward Drip's tent with the fire wood. He gave a grin toward Gauteau and patted on the tent's wall. "Drippy! I got the firewood!" He called out in the same tone he used earlier. "Drop it off at the campsite," Drip replied, mocking Ink's singing tone. Ink nodded and trotted toward the campsite and placed down the twigs he gathered. "I can't wait until lunch! Dinner...? Food!"
"Welcome back!  A nice fire sounds good!"  he replied as he watched them stroll into camp.  "So you found a lot of firewood then?"
"We sure did!" Ink chirped, making a neat pile with the sticks and twigs he found. Although it looks obvious that River Rose had found more than he did. But hey she had a bag and Ink forgot his. Ah well all that mattered was fire. As long as they didn't set the woods on fire here, they'll be fine.

"What we found," Rose started. "would be considered tinder and kindling. For a real cooking fire, we'll need fuelwood. While some of what we found could be considered fuelwood, I'd like to have a little more lying around." Trotting over to her wagon, she pulls out a pair of decent-sized logs and a book of matches. "Luckily, I brought some of my own."

"Ink, Drip, I'll leave you two with these," She said, tossing the matchbook to the blue pegasus. "What you gathered should be enough for a start. Please try not to waste them." Dragging the logs to a clear spot, the white mare pulls her hatchet from her bag and turns her attention to Gauteau. "Can you help me with these? It's nothing too exhausting. Just... use your levitation to keep these still while I split them in halves and quarters."
