Spam / Super Mario Flash

  Hello, everypony. For those who don't know, I made a level in Super Mario Flash. To get to Super Mario Flash, just follow the steps below.

1. Go to Google

2. Type in Super Mario Flash

3. Click on the first link

4. Click Level Editor

5. Click Load

6. Copy and Paste Code

7. Click Load

8. Click Play and have fun.


A few last things before I forget. There is no run button and when you get to the doors, you press the spacebar when you are in front of them for them to work. Just don't pick the wrong one or else you will die! XD Also, if the screen is too small, then look below the Super Mario Flash game and you can change it to small, medium and large.

Hello, everypony. I've been thinking of creating a MLP:FIM RPG that follows the show. However, I do not have the means nor the skill to create it. I only have the ideas in my head. In order for me to bring my vision to life, I would need a team to create it.


Is anypony willing to help me form a team together so we can make this a reality?

Hello, everypony, as some of you might know, there is a Live-action Ace Attorney Movie (2012).

Given that I'm going to review it, there are going to be spoilers, so be warned.

The Ace Attorney Movie (2012) is a live-action adaptation of the Ace Attorney game that was released in Japan back in 2001. Just like the game, it follows the Defense Attorney Phoenix Wright, who must prove that his client is innocent of the crime he/she is being accused of.

While there are many differences when you compare the game to the movie (Science Fiction elements, different places where events happened, different character designs, different personality, Maya wearing animal fur, no internal dialogue from Phoenix Wright, etc), the major differences are that the cases that are shown are strung together to form a cohesive story, and that we do not see most of the evidence until the court room scene.

The former is understandable, but the latter is down right unacceptable. My view when it comes to mystery is that most if not all of the evidence should be shown to the viewer before the reveal, so they will be able to solve it, or at least be interested in finding out if their theory was the correct one. However, without this element, the viewer is more likely to feel that evidence is just being pulled out of thin air, and the viewer will be less actively involved with the movie because there is less for them to care about.

This does not mean that the movie can‘t be enjoyable.  It just means that the other factors of the movie will need to be really good in order to carry the rest of the movie. Besides the big ones (Acting, writing (Plot and characters), setting, and musical score), there are other ones that many people forget (Costume design, lightening, and camera angles).

Now that we got that out of the way, we will now jump into the movie its self.

The movie opens up about 15 years before the main plot of the movie. It takes place with Mia’s mom asking Edgeworth’s father to state who killed him. He says that Yanni Yogi was his murderer. I will stop here and say that the special effects for this movie are stunning. The way the bullet wipes around the room with the smoke trailing. It then cuts to Phoenix Wright defending Larry Butz. When watching this scene…it didn’t sit right with me how Wright just seemed like a bumbling idiot. I know he is worried about his friend, but him knocking documents onto the floor just didn’t sit right with me. And that’s really the best way to explain my feeling through out this whole movie.

Good thing Mia comes in to the save day. It’s pretty clear this was done so that way the audience could see that she was a good defense attorney, and because it was a good way to get the audience to introduce the character to them. Now, again, I’m stopping here to note that I’m confused on a number of things. 1. Why was animation not used? With animation, they would do so much more (Silly faces and stuff), and it would fit the style of the game. 2. Who is the movie made for? As I’m watching it, it feels like it gives information that would be suitable for a new person, but at the same time it feels like some information was left out. It feels like they should’ve made a whole new case for this movie, or they should’ve changed it so someone else was the murderer (Christie stated that she felt the second method was a good idea so that way the audience will be shocked).

After the court scene, Larry Butz goes outside and he goes around trying to find some person to interview him, because he thinks that he is famous or something.  He is really annoying in this movie. I know he was annoying in the game, but the animation in the game helped by making him enjoyable to watch. Not soon afterwards, it focuses on Mia for a bit, and her quest to solve a 15 year murderer case. She has just found a bullet that is very important to it, but Redd White kills her before she can show it to Phoenix. I know that Mia died very early in the game, but it feels like the relationship of Mia and Wright should’ve been explored more. In general, I feel that there were pacing issues, this being one of them.

The movie was at it’s best when it slowed down and just spent time on one scene (Edgeworth and Yogi, Yogi’s flashback, and the case with Von Karma). But because it didn’t, the movie suffered (Larry and Maya’s relationship with Phoenix isn’t explored much. They are just there in the movie until they are needed for their Big Damn Hero Moment).  Phoenix shows up and…*sigh* I know that he was stunned by what happened, but it’s still jarring to watch a lawyer touch the murder weapon and the body. He is getting his fingerprints everywhere. And, again, I understand why he did it, but it doesn’t sit right with me (this will keep popping up over the course of the review).

So, like the game, Maya gets arrested, and Phoenix Wright goes to the Detention Center to talk to her. When I was watching this scene, I felt detached in the experience. I didn’t like the camera angle, because it prevent us from showing the facial expressions of the actors and it made it feel like we weren’t right there. It just reminded me that I was watching a movie, so it bought me out of the experience. Now, before we go into the Court Room, Edgeworth and Phoenix Wright meet each other on the steps of the Court Room building. Now, maybe it’s just me, but something about the story is weird here. It is never hinted that Phoenix Wright knows Edgeworth, so when they meet each other, it just feels weird to me. I feel that this should’ve been mentioned before they meet each other on the steps of the Court. Lucky the flashback soon after clears that up, but, it feels like it should’ve been handled better. So we get to the Court Room, and we might the judge and…*sigh* some weird machine that feels out of place.

The machine comes down from the ceiling and extend over top of the room. It uses screens that can be moved around and thrown to people. I understand that the machine might add to the more intense moments, but the world needs to show that these science fiction elements are more present. It feels out of place. It would be like in Lord of the Rings if Gandalf wiped out a cell phone to call for help. So, this plays out more or less like Turnabout Sister. However, the differences are that only Detective Gumshoe and Redd White are the ones being crossed examined.

Over the course of this scene, the device I mentioned earlier is activated by Edgeworth snapping his fingers, and Phoenix Wright banging on the table. Oh, and, when Phoenix Wright says take that, he throws the holographic screen at them. It’s as silly as it sounds. The Phoenix Wright series is known to be silly, but this doesn’t work in a world that tries to be more serious than silly. Finally, how many ways can this device be set off? If the defense or prosecutor sneezes, will it be set off? How about moon walking? Tap dancing?! Why would it be programmed to respond to these commands? Well, whatever, back to the scene. So, at one point Wright is trying to come up with an explanation for something (I believe it’s about the Thinker), but, his “thinking mode” is just embarrassing to watch, and it just looks like he is constipated.

I was just waiting for Judge Haller from My cousin Vinny to pop in and question what he is doing, and tell him to act more Profession when he is in court. I understand that it’s trying to be more like game, but because the movie has a more serious tone to it, it just comes across as weird. So, anyway, Phoenix Wright is cross examining Redd White who is decked out in all black, just in case the audience had any doubt he was the one who murdered Mia. And for some reason, he looks like Howard Stern to me. 

So, yeah, Phoenix Wright is an idiot in this movie (Besides him knocking papers on the ground and everyone being pretty cool with this, like it’s nothing new), like in the game, because he can’t think to turn the receipt over for the lamp. Good thing Mia shows up to help, interesting enough, no one can see her, but Phoenix. That would help explain why no one notices her any other time, but one questions why no one gives Phoenix a mental examination. Of course, I bet he would fail it. “Oh, I’m not crazy at all. My mentor just came back as a ghost, and she is helping me solve these cases. No, keep that needle away from me!” So, yeah, Phoenix wins the case, with Mia’s help. Hmm, he needed help in the first case, the second case, so I bet in the final case he should be able to prove who did it without Mia’s help? Hehe, we will see. I just like to point out that in the first case we are shown of Phoenix, he didn’t seem like such a good defense attorney, but then in the second one he is holding his own against Edgeworth like he does this everyday. So, anyway, the second case is boring for the lack of music, and lack of evidence, so the audience is just sitting there waiting for it to end.

And so, like in the game, Maya and Phoenix are going to work together on the next case. The scene that leads to that moment is quite nice because we get to see their faces when they are talking to each other. At some point we are with Edgeworth and Yogi on the boat. And, while I understand that Yogi is not trying to kill Edgeworth, it’s a bit weird to see Edgeworth have such quick reflexes. Is Edgeworth’s superpower quick reflexes? One thing I would like to point out is that I find it strange that Yogi didn’t kill Edgeworth. I mean, you have a gun and he is right there. KILL HIM!

Yeah, besides that, the scene its self is pretty good. I actually got a chill watching Yogi point the gun at Edgeworth and tell him “Merry Christmas” before firing the gun in his general direction. What worked was that it played it seriously, and didn’t try to ruin the scene by being silly. It also helps that the camera angle shot it so Yogi looked like he was towering over us, and was pointing the gun at the audience. 

So, yeah, eventually Phoenix and Maya found out that Edgeworth is being accused of murdering the defense attorney that Yogi dressed up as (We don‘t know it‘s Yogi until later). We get another detention scene, but this time the camera angle was low and to the left. We didn’t get to see Phoenix’s face, but we were about to see Edgeworth. This worked better than the Maya and Wright scene, but I think they should just show Wright’s face too. There is a difference between being faithful, and sticking too close to it.

The next scene is shot with Gumshoe, Wright, and Maya in a dark alleyway, and with the camera far away too. Again, I felt detached from the experience, felt that better lighting and moving the camera in closer would be better. Now, I would like to point out that I feel the actor who played Gumshoe is too young. He looks about Wright’s age when according to the video game, Gumshoe is suppose to be about six years older than Wright. Another problem I have is that Gumshoe isn’t silly like he is in the game, it’s a disappointment. On another note, why is Maya wearing animal fur around her neck? I don’t recall her wearing that in the game, so why is she wearing it? My guess is that the actress playing Maya was getting chilly during filming, but wearing a jacket would be out of place and might damage the costume, so she wore animal fur around her neck. Or, maybe she likes wearing animal fur? I don’t know, but it’s weird.

Now, this is the first time we see Maya and Phoenix working together on a case. Unfortunately, Maya isn’t of any help. It doesn’t feel like her being there had any impact on the evidence or information that Wright was able to get.

In Turnabout Storm, Apple Bloom was able to help Twilight get a ripped letter out of Fluttershy’s house, and told Twilight about a golf club in the water. If the movie did something like this, then it would show that Maya was important to Wright.

We see a flash back with the famous class room trial that lead to Wright wanting to become a defense attorney. It’s pretty interesting to note that the child actors are pretty good. They play their roles well. Yes, they are children playing children, but, to play a role without the audience feeling like it was faked, is pretty good. Also, how is it that Kid Butz is less annoying that Adult Butz?  Finally, kid Edgeworth is awesome! He used his wits and showed that there wasn’t enough evidence to prove that Wright did it.

Not too long afterwards, we head back into Court for Turnabout Goodbyes. It plays out like it did in the game. Wright cross examining Hart, and Von Karma presenting the two pictures (Even though earlier in the movie, that there was one picture that was blank). I have to note that the Judge looks like Asian Santa Claus with that silly bread, and that the actor who plays Von Karma is awesome. I just liked the way he played the character, but I’m disappointed that the Judge wasn’t silly. Just another way they tried to make it more serious. In this scene, humor is interjected by having the actors all fall down once Wright asks a stupid question. It’s out of place.

Maya comes in, like in the game, to help Wright by getting Hart to state she is certain she saw Edgeworth on the boat. Of course, because of Maya’s out burst, she is kicked out of the court room. I know that this scene is suppose to be a very important scene. The moment is to show that Maya is willing to do what she can to help Wright, but the lack of bonding between the characters, and the lack of any help beforehand, did not make an impression onto me.

Well, Phoenix is able to buy time by saying that Robert (The defense attorney Yogi dressed up as) killed himself on the boat. We get a few scenes of Maya and Wright looking around for clues. Yeah, they are together, but, I don’t really see the relationship between the characters. They happen to stumble onto a hut that lets you rent boats. No one is currently at home. It cuts to Larry, Maya, and Wright, not much is going on here. Just filling in a minor plot point about how the “Lockness Monster” appeared (It’s really this giant balloon that Larry has that blew up).  Not much really happens until the Court Scene with the Yogi (The person who lived in the house, and lets people rent boats from him). It honestly feels like a waste of time, and you could really just skip it without having any impact on the plot.

When Yogi appears in the court room, it shows Yogi in the same manner as Howard Stern. What I mean by that is, it’s screaming to you that he did it. It is another way for the movie to be darker, but it’s a little odd when you are characters that are dressed in colorful outfits. Also, the eerie background music doesn’t help either.

  Yogi says that Edgeworth was fluttering when he walked pass the rent boat house. Edgeworth says he wasn’t to that extent, and he does it by fluttering. Yeah, I get that it’s irony, but, was the falling down needed? It feels like the laugh tracks on comedy shows. We know when to laugh, (Even if this is not needed) you don’t need to throw it in our face. Well, the cross examination ends, because Phoenix has no evidence to prove it’s fake. This means that the Judge hands down a guilty verdict. And, when all hope is lost, Larry Butz shows up. Of course, Von Karma tries to stop it, but the Judge allows it.

Well, after Butz gives his testimony, the camera spins around him, and makes jump spins and an annoying sound every time it does it. I don’t get the point of it. It is annoying, and it is pointless. Of course, Butz says that the gunshot was fired 30 minutes before midnight, which is different than those who said that two were fired after midnight. Of course, Phoenix Wright, for some reason, has the photo that Hart had that was taken 30 minutes before midnight. Even though, he shouldn’t have that photo because Hart gave her photos to the police, and that means it would fall into Von Karma’s hands.

It comes to no surprised that Yogi is not there, so it is dismissed until tomorrow. Phoenix and Maya rush over to the rental boat shop to find information about talking revenge on Robert and Edge worth. Unfortunately for them, Von Karma shows up and stuns them with his stun gun. He then takes the evidence that could’ve been used in court. Too bad for Howard Stern, but he dies of food poisoning by Von Karma. Because he wants to tie up any loose ends that will connect him to this crime in some way.

It is around this time, that Edgeworth explains to Phoenix about his father. He says that he was in the evidence room, and saw Yogi fight with his father. Why Yogi is there is never explained, but, whatever. So, the rest of it is like the game. Edgeworth throws the gun, and thinks he killed his father. I have mix feelings about the evidence room. It’s better than the lift where they lost oxygen (Some how, even though it shouldn’t be like that), and it helps explain why no one saw Von Karma kill them since you would think someone would. However, it doesn’t give a reason why Von Karma would think that Edgeworth’s father would be down there. Pick your poison. 

We get to the court scene and Wright has the Thinker back (very important), and the Judge is about to declare Edgeworth guilty…but the Blue Badger shows up at of no where to save the day! It’s funny when it shows how he is just about a foot off the ground, but then it falls down and you see that no one is in it. A bit weird. It’s interesting that they use the Blue Badger because he didn’t first show up until the fifth case of the first game on the DS verison. Well, Yogi shows up and he explains that he needed to check on his bird. It plays out like the game with Phoenix trying to prove he is Yogi, but can’t without Polly responding to a comment that Phoenix makes. The bird then says Yogi’s name. I thought that about 22 minutes ago, the movie started to get good. Except with that Larry Butz scene, but, overall, the movie felt like it was improving. But it did take 66 minutes for it to get good. 

The Polly Scene was funny. Just, trying to cross examine a bird. Not bad, not bad.

And then, the mood changes. It gets intense. We see Yanni Yogi admit that he remembers, and that he killed Robert, but not Edgeworth’s father. We are then shown that Robert, his defense attorney, didn’t believe him, and forced him to plead he was insane when he committed the crime. Just --the flashback is so beautiful. We get to see how people react to this with signs posted up saying that he got away with murder. I also like the translation from the court room to Yogi going home. The floor below him changes to the signs. Very nice. I also like that there is no music. We can feel what we are suppose to feel without it, and that’s what makes it so powerful. For example, when he walks into his house and finds that his wife hanged herself. Wow. Just, wow. We then see him with his bird, continuing to say he is sorry. Because he couldn’t say it to his wife. We then see him get the wooden box with the acid, gun, and note. He is in pain when he does it. It shows just how much it affected him. It then shows him in present time, and the ghost of his wife is there with a bird cage has a head. She keeps saying that he loves him. It’s so touching, yet so creepy at the same time. The special effects really helped with it too.

Afterwards, Edgeworth confesses to killing his own father. There is recess and we are with Edgeworth, Maya, and Phoenix. Maya is playing slow music on the piano, and it fit’s the mode. Phoenix is trying his best to find evidence to prove Edgeworth is innocent. It’s a nice scene overall, before we are bought back into the court room.

It starts with Edgeworth testifying to what happened 15 years ago. And how, by throwing the gun, it discharged, killing his father. I have to say, I find it uncomfortable seeing a child with a gun. Besides that, the red and black swirl around Yogi and Edgeworth’s father during the fight, and it was an interesting touch. Like in the game, Phoenix explains that two bullets were fired and that the criminal must’ve taken the second one. However, Mia shows up and tells him it’s the other way around. I don’t remember if that happens in the game, but it seems kind of lame because Phoenix has gotten so far on his own without her, so I feel that Wright should’ve been able to figure it out without her. Remember, she has already helped him out in his past cases, this is Wright’s time to show how far he has come.

I do like how we are shown flashbacks as Wright is piecing everything together, and then realizing that the person behind it was Von Karma. Another thing I like is how the camera is blurry at first, but then becomes more focused on Von Karma. Nice effect I do have to say. Oh, and before I forget, the music is well done here because it gives me chills.

Given that Von Karma is a perfectionist, Wright realizes that the bullet must still be in his body. He uses Butz’s metal detector to find the bullet in his body. I wonder why Von Karma didn’t object on the grounds that the device could be rigged or isn’t accurate and it would need to be tested. It’s kind of jarring that the Judge isn’t against someone in the audience giving the defense attorney something to help him. It feels like the police should check it first, or it should be illegal. But, this is the Phoenix Wright Universe, where the defense attorney (Or, why doesn’t the police help him, but it would limit what the player can do) doesn’t need a search warranty when getting evidence, and the law doesn’t require that both the defense and prosecutor share evidence. You know, to get a fair trial.

He tries to get the gun to compare the bullet in his body with the gun, but the gun is no where to be found. I can’t believe he really thought it would be that simple.

All hope is lost, he has nothing to prove that he did it. But then he knocks over the Thinker that had the bullet (the one from Edgeworth’s Father’s body) that Mia got early on is used to prove that the reason Von Karma had killed Edgeworth’s father is because he had figured out that Von Karma had forged evidence. This explains why he was down at the evidence room. It also explains why Von Karma had a prefect record for 40-years. He has the bullet scanned by throwing it up in the air for lasers to capture it and scan it. I’m surprised he knew about that system, and it’s only there so all the action happens within the court room. It also has the drama of the two screens coming together and showing that the bullet he had, doesn’t match the bullet that was presented 15 years ago. This proves that Von Karma forged evidence.

Von Karma tries pleading with the Judge to stop it so it won’t prove they don’t match, but the Judge doesn’t listen. I should note that Von Karma’s hair has become a mess, because he is stressed out. Nice touch. 

This is the part where he has the breakdown, and it’s pretty tame. Not like the game which was pretty awesome when he kept banging his head against the wall. He explains that he did it all because he was putting criminals away, and it didn’t matter if he forged or concealed evidence. He felt that people who didn’t get put away, were getting away with a crime. The camera spins around them, with Phoenix telling him that their true mission is to find the truth. I liked that they kept that message from the games.

After Wright wins the case, he, Edgeworth, and Maya stay in the court room while the janitors clean up. Phoenix explains that he is going to take on Yogi’s case from 15 years ago, and prove his innocent. At least then, he will not be the murderer of that crime anymore. It then has them outside with Maya wondering who stole the lunch money at school, and we find out it’s Larry Butz. Phoenix is shocked that this is why he became a defense attorney, and he chases Larry down. I must say, I found this scene nice to watch. I enjoyed the interaction. I wished that this was how the relationship was handled between the characters. I think then it would have had more of an impact on me.

The rest of it are the credits, and it seems to be based around Farewell my Turnabout, and it ends with Phoenix pointing his finger in objection, like the game. Nice touch.

The ending was okay, a bit of a disappointment in my eyes.
Really, unless you are a hard-core fan, skip it. Go watch Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva as it is how you make a video game movie well.

TL;DR: The movie felt like it tried to do too much in such a short amount of time. This left relationships that could’ve been developed, feeling lacking. At times, I feel that it did things, just because it was done in the game. Music helped at times, but it would’ve been nice to hear more music from the game. The setting was a serious one, so any humor in the movie didn’t work. It seems that the movie would’ve been better if it was animated, and a whole movie was spent on one case. Then things could feel like one movie, instead of a few shorter movies stitched together. It also means that everything could’ve been developed more, and it would be pretty clear that the movie was made for fans, and not a weird mix of both fans and newcomers. The actors were skilled, and the special effects were really well done. Finally, the ending to the movie was a disappointment because the hero was handed the victory when the Thinker that had the bullet in it, broke at the trial(Really, that’s pretty lucky that Redd White killed her with the thinker and he so happened to get it on the last day of trial. If it got it sooner or later, then he would’ve been unable prove that Von Karma did it. It also means that the Hero didn’t do it himself, because he needed his mentor to help him).

I can only really recommend this to hard-core fans. Everyone else will leave this movie feeling disappointed.

Sorry for how long it took to write this up and for how long it is. It's why I included a TL;DR section to my review. I kind of like going scene by scene since it allowed me to explain why each scene worked or didn't worked. Of course, I skipped over it if I didn't have any opinion on it. If you guys want me to do more reviews, please tell me.

Hello, Everypony. I decided that I'm going to try my hands at an AAR. What is an AAR? An AAR stands for "After Action Report" and it means that I will take a game (playing or finished) and make a story out of it. (Keep in mind that AAR's tend to be long and tend to involve Wall of Text).

In this case, I'm playing Poland-Lithuania from Empire: Total War and I'm making an AAR out of it. I'm also playing long campaign so it will take me to the winter of 1799 to win (You start out at the Summer of 1700).


Okay, here we go!

POLAND-LITHUANIA

Summer of 1700

1700, the year that King August II has inherited the Poland-Lithuania throne. He is a young thirty year old man who was raised from birth that the military is good and should be admired. He has also well-learned and uses some enlightened ideas to help his country, but he is still the one in charge at the end of the day. King August II is also not very religious. He may call himself a Catholic, but it's only because most in his country are Catholic.

He surrounded himself with many advises. Some better than others, and some that would be better served being shot at. He would have chosen better advises if he could, but the country is a Constitutional monarchy, and not an Absolute one. In this government, not all Cabinet members can be fired at the same time unless a mass election is held.

The Treasury Minster provided the King information on the well-being of the Country. Currently, none of the five lands (Poland, Lithuania, West Prussia, Volhynia, and Galicia & Podolia)  that Poland-Lithuania control have any wish to rebel. However, the King realized that the level of the taxes shouldn't be increased because it might cause rebellion. While the August II looked over the notes, he started to notice a pattern. For the last five years under his father's rule, the current Treasury Minster has been causing income from trade to decrease over the years.

With that, King August II makes his first decision as King and has him removed from Office.

In his place is Dobromil Zagorbelny. Zagorbelny isn't an impressive man and the only good thing going for him is that he is a very religious. He was elected into position as the Treasury Minster because no one better could be picked. However, King August II is unable to fire anyone else until six months later. This is to prevent him from filling his cabinets with people loyal to the king.

The next order of business was the King looking over who Poland-Lithuania was trading with. He was worried by the lack of countries that were trading with his, and he was worried by the income received from trading with Prussia, Russia, and Courland.

It was at this moment that he realized he had no idea who was allied with his country, what protectorates he controlled and who he was at war with. His father never did like him, so he was no surprise to him that he wasn't told anything about his beloved country.

He looked around the table of Cabinet members he had just met.
"Who among you is the Head Minster?" he asked. A person to his right spoke up.
"It is me, your King. What is it that you request?"
"I need information on our allies, enemies, and protectorates."

"Yes, sir. Now we are currently allied with Russia and Denmark. Our Protectorate nations are Saxony and Courland. And we are currently at war with the Barbary States and the Pirates in the Americas. I should advise you sir that while we get 50% of their income because we are protecting them, it will look bad if we don't support them in a time of need." The King banged his finger against the Oak table, and glared at the Head Minster. He couldn't believe that he needed to "advise" him to protect his protectorates and that he gets 50% of what they made.


However, August II decided to focus on other matters. Namely, his borders with the other countries.
"Who is the person in control of the Military?" August II asked. A man sitting directly across from him spoke.
"Sir, what is it, sir?"
"I would like to know our military strength and any information that the military has picked up." The man handed August II the information he asked for.

He didn't like what he was seeing. Bordering the country was Prussia to the north with a strong army, and Austria to the East, also with a strong looking army. To the upper right was West Prussia, it was undefended and would fall quickly to an attack by either the Austrians and/or Prussians. The King felt uncomfortable looking at the map, because the Capital of Poland-Lithunia, Warsaw, was within a years march of Prussia's army and maybe a 1 and a half for Austria's army. The weak army of 309 (General, militia, and Provincial Cavalry), was the only thing close enough to defend the capital. However, August II felt powerless to do anything and decided to see who else was bordering his country.

To the North was Sweden with a powerful looking army, and it seemed to be within striking distance with the city of Vilnius in Lithuania. But he didn't seem too worried because Russia was to his east and Courland was to his North. He turned to the Army Minster and said "Send a letter to" He glanced down at the notes, "General Pawl Lempicki and tell him to move his army of 309 men to fort Panemune to reinforce it.

"Yes, sir, yes, that is a good decision because our army of 1380 is split too much. In doing this, raise the defenders to 539 men and it will provide support against a Prussian attack. However, sir, I must advise you that he likes to attack, not defend."

"Noted, but he is the only one nearest to it to defend it." said August II. The Army Minster went to work writing a letter to the General, and he called in a person to deliver it. August II then looked over the Southern border of his country.

To the right was Russia, his ally, to his southern border was the Ottoman Empire, to the left was Austria, and to his right was the Crimean Khanate. The Ottoman Empire wasn't a threat and neither was Crimean Khanate, but August II decided not to spend troops to attack either of them because Austria and Prussia are bigger threats than the Ottoman Empire. However, that doesn't mean he didn't do anything. He looked at the information the Army Minster gave him, and it said that Zachariaz Wincek was a 35-year-old man who is a Catholic Missionary and is always happy to convert people. August II wrote a letter advising Zachariaz Wincek, the Catholic Missionary in Galicia & Podolia to go into Moldavia and try and convert the people to the Catholic religion. He reasoned that it would be easier to take over that piece of land if the people he was conquering was the same religion as them. He called in a person to deliver the letter and they hurried out of the building. His next interest was this gentlemen section that he happen to see in the notes.

There was information about a Stanislaw Lukasiewiez. He was fifty-eight-years-old and he needed money and a place to do his research.

"I had an idea. This man needs a place to work and he needs money, well, I will put him into the school that is in Poland, and he can do his research there. However, he will research what we want done." August II said.

August II asked the minsters to hand him the notes that they have, and August II poured over them for some time before making his decision.

"Based on the information I have here, it seems that he should be used to research this Common Land Enclosures."

"But, sir, I advise that you should help out the Army sir. I thought you were a support of the Army, sir?" said the Army Minster.

"Yes, yes I am, but I'm worried about the economy because I can't build and maintain an army with a strong economy."

"I don't care what you research, just know that I'm not going to support anything dealing with the navy." said the Navy Minster. The King couldn't understand how a man who disliked the Navy could be the Navy Minster. August II reasoned that he must had been friends with his Father or something.

"I don't believe you should support Philosophical, because it will cause rebellion." said the Justice Minster. 

"Noted." August II said.

"I seem to recall you stated that you are worried about the economy. Well, I propose that you send me off to request trade with them." said the Head Minster.

"Fine, fine. Go ask for trade." August II said. The Head Minster nodded and then left the room. August II had the meeting adjourned until later.

--3 MONTHS LATER--

The Head Minster walked into the cabinet room carrying papers. He walked over to King August II and handed him them before he took his seat.

"Austria, Crimean Khanate, Sweden, and the Ottoman Empire said that they will accept a trade agreement if we agree to their terms." he said.

"What are the terms?" the King said.

"Austria would like a trade with no offer. Sweden is asking for a payment of 330 gold before accepting. The Ottoman Empire is asking for 370 gold. And, finally, Crimean Khanate is asking for 170 gold. I would accept all of them, because you will make all of it back." the Head Minster said.

"Yes...I agree with the Head Minster...." said Zagrobelny, who kept nodding off. August II sat looking through each of the papers given to him. He didn't like giving up his money so early, and before he spent it on any military bases. However, he decided it was for the better, so he signed it and had a person come in to deliver them.

"Anything else?" August II asked.

"Actually, yes, I found out that Great Britain, France, and the United Provinces are considered the Superpower powers of the World now. I also was given this letter while I was in Austria." said the Head Minster. He handed the letter to the King.

"Austria is asking for military alliance, in exchange to us trading our land around." the King said.

"I would accept it, because we can't protect West Prussia from Prussia, and having a military alliance with Austria will allow us to avoid war from them. Also, Transylvania is easy to defend. It's a win-win for us." The King decided to sign that one too and he had it sent out. The King decided to adjourn the meeting until later.

--2 MONTHS LATER--

The Cabinet members and the King were busy determining where and what to building in the cities when a man carrying a letter disturbed the meeting.

"What is going on here? Don't you see--" August II said.

"--Sorry, but this is a letter Declaring War on Both Austria and Denmark. Prussia is declaring war on Austria, and Sweden is declaring war on Denmark." said the man.

"I will decline, we aren't ready for war." said August II, who was waving the man out.

"No, August, we need to accept to keep the peace. We are a land-locked nation surrounded by nations who could attack us. We need these alliances to give us time to build a force to resist attacks into our country. Also, breaking these alliances will make it harder to make new ones." the Head Minster said.

"Keeping the peace by going to war? Weird, but it might work." the King said. He motioned for the man to come back with the letter and he signed it. The man then pulled another letter out of his pocket.

"I would also like to inform you that the United Provinces and Spain are now at war." the man said.

"Almost six months as the ruler of this country, and the whole world seems to be going to war." August II said. The King sat there thinking about what the Winter season will bring, and what other decisions will he need to do to ensure his nation survives to the next century.

Thanks for reading the first part of a 200 long part AAR (Each part will vary in length, there might be some turns where I can't do anything. The only thing I will cut out is me building anything until it gets finished).

So, I've thought of this idea.

You know how we have such a long time until season 3 comes out, and we don't know what to do during that time? Well, I've came up with this idea, so here is how it works.

Rules:

-list the mane six in order from 1 to 6 (1 being favorite and 6 being least favorite)

-Watch the series in order.

-Give points (must be in integers of 5) for each of the mane Six (it's possible for them not to get points) at the end of each episode.

-No limit on how high or low the score can be

-Must explain why you gave or took away points

-Try not to add up numbers until the end, so you don't inflate numbers just so some pony wins

-Which ever pony has the highest amount of points is the winner of season 1 (End Season 1 with a list and the total amount of points besides the pony)

-Points carry over to the next season

-Do as you did for season 1

-Which ever pony has the highest amount of points is the winner of season 2 (End Season 2 with a list and the total amount of points besides the pony)

-Compare Season 1 and 2 with how you arranged the ponies before you played this game, and see which one got the closes to your list.


Points? What is that?

Points are how you determine how much you like/respect a pony after an episode. For some of us, it will be boring as some positions never changed for you, but for others it will be a blast to see why certain ponies are your favorite now and how some ponies crawled their way up the list. While you may know the episode that gained you respect for a pony, you might start to realize how much when it is given a value.


How is this a forum game?

It can be by posting your results after each of the episodes. That way people can compare with each other.


So what happens when a pony wins?

Nothing really. It's just there for brownie points.

Case Speculation and Ideas / General Case Idea

Okay so this is a general idea that I've worked out for this case.

*Ahem*

Twilight receives a letter from Princess Celestia stating that she has important information for her; however, she would like to inform her in person; she will tell her after a big party that is being held at night, and she and her friends are invited too. Twilight invites her friends, but Rainbow Dash is too sick to go; Fluttershy stays behind to take care of her. Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity are having a good time at the party, but no pony has seen Celestia since the party started. Twilight, worried, goes to look for Celestia. Sometime later, Twilight doesn't return. In fact, the police and the guards show up and force them to leave. They are lead to the front of Canterlot Castle. AJ, Pinkie, and Rarity are confused by what is going on, and it is then that Princess Luna shows up to tell them the news. It appears that there was an attempt on Princess Celestia's life, and Twilight Sparkle is the prime suspect. Princess Luna takes them to see Twilight Sparkle, who is currently shackled to the wall with a spell put on them that prevents magic, and she is being watched by guards. Twilight Sparkle informs them of what she did after she left the party, and how she ended up here. Princess Luna informs Twilight that a very-skilled Prosecutor with many years under her belt, and who can see into the past is the pony working to prove she is behind the act. Because of this, and the fact that it is an open-and-shut-case (Like we never heard that before  ),  no pony wants to defend her. Pinkie Pie interjects that she has experience in solving cases and that she will prove that Twilight is innocent. Applejack and Rarity then jump in saying that they will also being willing to help. Given the situation, Princess Luna is forced to make them Detective/Defense Attorneys. Princess Luna also gives them a Giant book on all the information they need on investigating and the information they need for court. However, they will be joined by a High ranking Police officer to insure that everything is considered legal and not just thrown out of court.

The fate of Twilight Sparkle, faithful student of Princess Celestia, welder of the element of magic, and smart pony overall; is left in the hooves of Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Rarity. These three must force a unicorn with years of experience, and the ability to see into the past. Twilight is going to need luck to make it through this.


Prosecutor: The idea that I've worked out for her is that she is a unicorn who can see into the past. I feel that having that ability would make it so she knows information from the episodes. I also want to make it ironic that even if the ability to see into the past, she still gets the past wrong.  I've also worked out that I want her to already have a premise in hoof, and that everything she is doing is trying to prove that premise. Her premise is that Twilight Sparkle has been trying to rule Equestria for some time, and that everything that ever happen was because of Twilight Sparkle. Yes, the Prosecutor is trying to claim that Twilight is, in fact, a Magnificent Bastard  http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MagnificentBastard . Or at the very least, Twilight is a ChessMaster (TV Trope). The Prosecutor puts forth the idea that Twilight could come up with such a plan to rule Equestria, because Twilight is such a smart pony. She then goes about using evidence from the episodes (Past events by the way) to up she her put.  It might be best that she can show it to the other ponies, so then it is evidence.

The personalty that I've worked out is that she is very nasty. She makes fun of Applejack's accent, and puts down her intelligence.

Prosecutor: What does this say?

Applejack: Countenance.

Prosecutor: Wow, I'm impressed.

Applejack: What? Because I could pronounce such a word?

Prosecutor: No, the fact you can read.

Given that Pinkie Pie is the head Detective on this case, the Prosecutor and her are rivals. The Prosecutor doesn't like to make friends, she likes to put down other ponies for her own enjoyment, and she can't think inside a chimney. The Prosecutor will fight her on anything that sounds silly or is out there. She will also not be convinced unless there is evidence involved.

Pinkie Pie: Well, what if the culprit just flew away?

Prosecutor: If this is some kind of joke, it isn't funny. We know that both ponies involved were earth ponies... (Smirk) I guess the balloons on your flank is suppose to represent how  full of hot air you are.

For Rarity, she puts her down by saying "You might not want to search in that house, your mane might get a little dust in it." or "Given how you are into fashion, I'm surprised your didn't try and beatify that (Referring to something that is unfashionable like a hazmat suit).

That's generally what I've worked out for the story and the Prosecutor. But beyond that, I've really got nothing. Well, I do know one joke I would like to put in. Of course, I won't tell you.
