The official japanese website has some more info concerning the game that you should read. I won't spoil here... but I will say Dual Destinies lives up to its name from what I have seen.

MASSIVE UPDATE INCOMING!!!!

Hello everyone! The drought for more info on the Western release is over as Capcom USA dropped a huge load today. There are five main bits of news to cover.

1. The localized title is now Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies.

2. It is set to release this Autumn 2013! This is much faster than usual localizations, so this greatly pleases me.

3. Phoenix's VA has changed. It's... alright and I'm sure it'll grow on me.

4. There will be a playable demo at E3. So, more localized footage incoming!!!

Gabu, although you made some good points, this trailer still makes me very uncomfortable with the idea of this new series. This comment from EqD sums up my thoughts.

This is my opinion on EQ. First of all, this is a trailer. A trailer is typically something that is meant to entice and inform the viewer about said program. THIS IS THEIR BEST FOOT FORWARD. Think about that. These are the highlights of this "film"

Why does this even need to exist looking at this at a non-business standpoint? Frankly, there's the answer. There is no purpose for this to exist other than the fact for little kids and Barbie Monster High fans to latch onto. Hasbro is literally seeing this as a business endeavor.

By what we can gather, Celestia calls upon Twi for something relating to the Elements of Harmony I believe and having to go in this dimension. My point is... why does this universe exist? Why THIS UNIVERSE? This universe makes no sense. All of the main characters in the real show are either college aged or in their 20's. What are they all doing in high school? Is this school the normal world's Ponyville? If so, this is utter bull. Turning such a complex yet simple society to a high school is just ridiculous. Why are pegasi in school with earth ponies? Don't they go to their own school? FLIGHT SCHOOL? And Rainbow got kicked out, right? This is just a plot hole as anypony's past experiences make the character we see. So by having all these different experiences in turn gives us different charcaters in a way. This itself is a ridiculous idea. And shouldn't this mean the CMC is in like... kindergarten then? Why are they this old compared to the normal ponies? What are they even doing here? Did we really have to shove in EVERY single character in the show just for the heck of it?

And what's the main conflict? The climax? A prom. The most cookie cutter thing ever in any teenage story ever made. I suppose she must win the prom queen or something in order to win the Element of Magic? Give me a break. And Twilight doesn't exist in this universe. How does this make sense? At all? Because she is the protagonist yes, but it's a huge plot-hole. These universes are alternate versions of each other, WHY DOES SUCH A BIG PART OF MLP NOT EXIST?!

And christ. The guy. He seems to be a new character. Or at least new to the show. Why does Twilight have to have a love interest? Or at least close to one? What is the point? What does it contribute? Once again insulting all over Faust's vision and why MLP is so great. FACEPALM FACEPALM DESKBANG.

They even get character development wrong. MLP. Gets character development wrong. Why exactly? How about the fact we have such a stereotypical villain. A popular girl who doesn't accept an unfamiliar face. And wait! Give her a leather jacket! Because she's the bad guy! And bad guys wear leather! -_- And a surprising thing: The other 5 don't come along. So they exist without Twilight? This is an incredibly awful problem. It's like erasing the original character's history and we start from day 1. These characters are blank slates for us and are practically different people because of this different lifestyle, most likely not allowing us to have any emotional connection or care to these new forms of characters. These are not the characters we know and love. These are cardboard cutouts. Albeit Twilight.

The only notable things are the voice acting and the music is said to be great. But I don't trust that farther than I can throw it.

It's unbelievable people are still neutral about this. It's disgusting. It's insulting. It's a disgrace. It's undeniably, unquestionably, uncool.

This is everything Faust didn't want FiM to be combined into one abomination. With some extra pieces of garbage added to the mix. It is literally just a generic high school drama show for dumb tweens with MLP characters- no. MLP character's NAMES added into a generic high school drama show for dumb tweens. It's depressing, aggravating, and sickening. It is astonishing at just how awful this feels.

For Celestia's sake Hasbro... PLEASE prove me wrong. I want to be wrong.
