Recruiting: Audio Engineer!

EDIT: Applications are now closed! Thanks to everyone who applied.

Hi all,

Just dropping you a line to say that, in light of feedback from the case 1 demo, we’ve decided to start recruiting for an audio engineer. The audio engineer will be responsible for a number of audio matters, such as normalization and equalization of dialog, the creation of sound effects, and more. Have a looksee through the recruitment page if it sounds like something that you can and would like to do.

Thanks, all!

  1. Hey ! I’m interested in helping the team but I have few questions :

Wich audio compiler do you recommend to use?
I suppose there will be spoil, but I still ask about it *grin*, will the sound designer be exposed to spoil ?
How many peoples do you take?

    • Yes, the audio engineer will be exposed to the full case script, so spoilers will be inevitable. You can use whatever you want, as long as it can export to Ogg Vorbis at a bitrate of 44100 Hz. We’re only recruiting for one position.

  2. Looks like fun! I’m defiantly gonna try out! Just a couple of questions:

    1. When we make the sound effects are you looking for near-replicas of Ace Attorney effects or something more unique?
    2. When Twilight says “Wait a second!” Is that like an “Objection!” or is it just a normal line? Sorry, my AA knowledge isn’t that great and I’ve never played Investigations…

    Thanks!

    • Glad to hear it! To respond…

      1. You can do either – whichever you’re more comfortable with.
      2. Yes, that is intended to be similar to “Objection!”
